Fake data generator
Fake data is only useful when a person could believe the row. A column named full_name should not be test123. SchemaSeed picks a generator from the column name and the SQL type, then fills values that match.
Columns it recognizes
- People: first name, last name, full name, username, email, phone.
- Places: address, city, region, country, postal code.
- Text: title, sentence, paragraph, company, URL, slug.
- Numbers and time: integer, decimal, price, date, timestamp, boolean.
Language changes the words, not your schema. English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese are free. Chinese, Russian, Japanese, and Arabic are Pro. A CHECK constraint such as IN ('draft', 'active') stays in the spellings you wrote. Email addresses stay in ASCII so they remain valid.
If you only have a spreadsheet header, paste id, email, full_name, city, created_at. SchemaSeed treats that as the schema.
